Information

For reference we have included the following links to some of the most serious pests that we are involved in treating in the area:

Emerald Ash Borer
Emerald Ash Borer is a small insect that has become responsible for the near eradication of the ash trees in south east Michigan.

Oak Wilt
Oak Wilt is a fast-moving fungal infection that predominantly effects oaks in the red oak group.  While it has not been officially diagnosed in Emmet county, it has been found in neighboring counties.  To reduce the change of transmission, we strongly encourage residents to avoid any pruning of oaks except during the dormant season.

Dutch Elm Disease
Dutch Elm disease is another fungal infection that has become a more common occurrence in our area.
